Most of the Freshman class joined several members of the Bison community in attending the Horizons II personal finance workshop. After a meal sponsored by Horizons, Deb Rombough and Dan Oedekoven presented a wonderful program to help those in attendence find ways to both manage the money they have, and save for the future. Both students and adults had a multitude of ways to begin saving.

Bison Afterschool program spent one afternoon making and then eating edible art projects. Kids in K-6th grade were invited to learn where popcorn and marshmallows came from as well as using these items to make their own snowman. After a quick picture of their creations they enjoyed eating them.
